Project enters its second edition in 2025, directly benefiting 250 children and adolescents
CAMPINAS, Brazil – For the second consecutive year, Aviagen® Latin America is proud to support the Circuito Cultural Gaúcho de Medianeira, an initiative of CTG Sentinela dos Pampas that celebrates the rich traditions of Rio Grande do Sul in western Paraná, Brazil. The program highlights music, storytelling, poetry and dance while instilling values such as respect, discipline and family unity.
From pre-teens to seniors, connected through culture
Over its first two years (2024–2025), the Circuit has directly engaged around 250 children and teenagers with active participation from parents, grandparents and seniors across the community. According to Fabiane Elise Poletto Bersch, head of CTG Sentinela dos Pampas, the goal is to nurture Gaúcho culture while creating a healthy, inclusive space for families to come together.
“It is most exciting to see everyone – from young children to older adults (over 60 years old) – united by the same art. This shows that everyone can dedicate themselves and find in dance and culture a path to friendship, discipline, and appreciation of our identity,” shared Fabiane.
Keeping tradition alive, strengthening communities
The project is made possible by the Federal Culture Incentive Law and receives additional support from Cooperativa Lar. Since 2024, Aviagen has been a proud sponsor, reaffirming its commitment to social sustainability and to caring for the communities where its employees and customers live and work.
“Our support for the Circuito Cultural Gaúcho is a way of valuing traditions that have shaped the lives of many families in western Paraná. By investing in a project that combines culture, discipline and wellbeing, we are helping to create opportunities for young people and strengthen community ties for the future. In this way, we are ‘Breeding Success Together’ with local communities,” said Ivan Pupo Lauandos, President of Aviagen Latin America.
In addition to celebrating cultural heritage, the project provides children and young people with a safe and supportive environment away from the harmful pressures of social media, where they can develop communication skills, confidence and teamwork. As Fabiane explained, “The main contribution of the Circuit is to provide activities that stimulate expression and strengthen family ties while preserving the values of the Gaúcho tradition.”
