Aviagen ANZ Launches Broiler Clubs to Celebrate Grower Excellence

Goulburn, Australia – Aviagen ANZ is pleased to announce the launch of its Broiler Clubs across Australia and New Zealand, recognizing outstanding flock performance and grower dedication with the Ross® 308.

Customers in Oceania continue to achieve excellent results with the Ross 308 — the world’s most popular broiler breed. Aviagen remains deeply committed to promoting the highest standards of animal welfare alongside productivity. By reinstating the Broiler Clubs, last held before the COVID-19 pandemic, Aviagen is once again able to highlight and celebrate growers who consistently deliver exceptional results across both commercial and free-range systems prioritizing the health and well-being of their flocks, as well as performance.

Entry into the Broiler Clubs is based on verified production data shared between Aviagen and its customers’ poultry companies. This ensures transparent and accurate benchmarking of bird performance across the region.

For 2024, entry thresholds were set at:

Farms must achieve a rolling three-run average EPEF at or above these levels to qualify.

Gold, Silver, and Bronze awards were presented to the top three farms in each category:

Australia – 440 Club (Commercial)

Australia – 430 Club (Free Range)

New Zealand – 470 Club (Commercial)

New Zealand – 470 Club (Free Range)
